Is drifting as fun as it looks/does it get boring: yeah, the reason i really liek drfting is becuase somtimes bashing can get boring (atleast for me) because there isnt any type of challenge, its just driving around, but with drifting you keep wanting to drift better, smoother, more techinacal, ect. which keeps it insteresting. I get bored with regular oold bashing, but drifting seems to be the one thing (apart form racing, that is always a new and exciting challenge)

Is it worth the money: Considering its probabyl one of the cheepest froms of RC, and it 9in my opinion) is one of the msot fun, id say its definetly worht the moeny.

RE: Driting...

is drift as fun as it looks? : Yes. it's very fun. It's something you can do by yourself or with a crowd. Seeing a car goes sideways is just really cool. Especially when you see your skill increase. When you start getting huge angles or good slides. When you can get closer and closer to obsticles without hitting them, it's GREAT!

does it get boring? : Not to me. Not to anyone I know who does it. I'm sure it might if you never improve or never have anywhere to go, but in most cases, if you enjoy it, you will always enjoy it.

worth the money? : It's very cheap to get into. Snatch up that tt-01. If you're money's low, I wouldn't recommend getting anything but the BARE ESSENTIALS right now. Grab some PVC or ABS pipe to make the tires for drifting [ you can pick some pipe up at a local hardware store and HOW-TO's should be around here somewhere] You don't NEED anything but a 4wd chassis and some drift tires. All the other stuff is extra. Once you get the hang of it and your $$$ increases, then you can worry about other stuff.

does any one know any links for a cheap TT-01. i cant do ebay dont have ebay acount or credit card... so help me out here : Here are some other sites that might have people selling them.

I´m planning use this setup:

From TowerHobbies

Novak XRS ESC = $49.99

Futaba 2PH 2-Channel AM/1 S3003 Servo = $42.99

Venom 6-Cell 3000mAh NiMH Stick = $19.99

Trinity Golden No Solder Leads (2) = $4.79

Trinity Co27 Monster Stock Pro Motor = $31.99

=$149.75

From RcMart

TT-01 Calsonic Skyline GT-R = $77.9

Yeah Racing Alloy Shaft = $6.9

Yeah Racing Bearing set =$10.9

GPM Alloy Motor Mount = $4.9

And Yeah Racing Alloy Damper Set 50mm (four shocks with 3 types of springs, oil filled) for 1:10 cars = $21.9

=$122.5

You get everything you need for start drifting and have a very good drifter for a long time Just for $ 272.25

If you´re very interested in drifting (like me), i think it´s very dificult to get bored, because is cheap, really fun, and you can polish your skills until you can drift almost perpendicular in a turn with just 1cm of space from the rear and front of your car to the walls

Definetly go with the TT-01D. Much better drifter then the trinity, and mch more popular so when you need help, or parts its easier.

The Tspec has many problems with it. All over the chassis.
Get the tt01 if that is what you can afford.

Being on a budget and wanting something that is not a beginers car (with hop ups) is hard...like having your cake and eating it too! :)

From what I have read, get the TA05

RE: Driting...

Drifting SUCKS if you're the only one drifting. I almost got out of the hobby myself but I stuck with it for almost 2 years drifting on my own (well, my bro drifted too) These past 4-5 months, I've been drifting indoors with a bunch of other guys and it has been a blast. I can't wait for spring to come so we can drift outdoors and hopefully find more guys to drift with.

I am loving my TT-01. its an awesome drifter.
as for ur questions:
is drift as fun as it looks?
Drifting is amazingly fun. Especially when u outdrift someone

does it get boring?
I have been drifting for about a year on and off. It doesnt really get boring, unless you have no one to drift with.

worth the money?
Definently worth the money.
