Nitro drifter

I was thinkin' about getting a nitro as my first drifter.
RS4 3 Evo+, was my choice.
If I get this can I run pvc tires? I'm 15 and still in school. I can't burn my tires off quick or else I won't be drifting at all.

Thanks.

Get ABS Tires because it has more grip than pvc. PVC don't really have any tractions at all. But just one thing, if your a nitro drifter try not to overheat your engine when drifting because you have to be at a certain rpm to have amount of torque.

i find that for nitro pvc and abs are pretty much the same. i've drifted both and both seems to drift alike the only difference is that the pvc wheels lasted longer than the abs wheels.

I wpuld Keep with the RS4 Nitro Evo +, im also getting it,

For Tires i would go for Abs or Just go to your local automotive part retailer and ask for Runnber Brakeline guides,

There a hard rubber compund and will last long and hanndle great with all that power!

I have run both ABS and PVC on my RS4 Racer 2 and I seem to prefer the ABS a little more. With PVC, the wheels are spinning constantly to get anywhere, with ABS, they actually can grip just enough to get going or turn without have to have the wheels spinning constantly and they seem to respond better when trying to do techinical stuff.

Is it goos for semi small areas?

Its not too bad, here's a vid of the area I usually drift at, its not real small, but it isn't exactly huge. http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l1...=DriftPath.flv

Cool vid. The area where you drift at is way smaller than mine.
What's the setup on your car. i.e engine, pipe, etc.

I'm running an SH.12 with an Ofna X12 pipe. Recently bought a two-speed for it but haven't decided if I like drifting in 1st or 2nd gear. I have all four corners at zero camber, and 1 degree toe-in on the rear.

Well, for the area in the vid it's about half throttle or lower with small bursts of full throttle if needed.

Thanks! The driving wasn't very smooth, it was the first time out in around four or five months.

No, I can't seem to find anywhere around here that sells ABC for some reason, or the people I talk to at the stores have no idea what they are talking about, so I bought them off of eBay.
