Brushless on Drifter?

I know lots of people use Brushless for racing cause of its capabilities but do they use it on drifters (such as a HPI Sprint 2?)? What brushless system do you recommend?

BTW Do i have to upgrade the spurs and other components on my sprint 2 drive system to make it stronger so it wont strip?

Most of the people i know run mamba max 5700kv. or novak ss13.5, 4300kv. I am running a novak ss8.5 on my tt-01, so far its an over kill with abs or yoks. But with RP-D's or HPI a-type drift radials its just crazy fast but controllable through mid-drift and high speed drift.

Since a drifter doesn't need a great deal of power, and longer runtimes increase the fun-factor, the SS4300, and SS5800 are perfect. They have a great balance of power and longevity, and are sensored, giving you great low RPM smoothness.

ss4300 is awesome, i had one, then drove it into a pole and the esc kinda broke. but awesome power and divability

You don't need to improve anything, in the drivetrain. Its strong enough. I say get the LRP Sphere Competition with a 3 star motor, If you can find one. If not, go with a 4300 or 5800, both good motors that I ran on my sprint.
