electric drifting??
 

i have a nitro rs4 rtr3 and just like all the other nitro cars i have,
i spend more time fixing it than i actually do driving it

ive heard some things about how electric is better for drifting?
anyone wanna tell me why and if anyone reading this lives near sf i might be selling my rs4 which is barely even broken in
or possibly just trading for a decent electric drifter

I have a "decent electric drifter" for sale right now down in SoCal. Not exactly local but atleast in the same state lol. I have it in the buy & sell section but I can give you details on it here if you like. Basically a Tamiya TT01 with a few hopups and carbon fiber with a clean impreza body and a skyline r32 body that sees the streets the most. It's RTR just need batteries for it and I'm only tryin to get 125 for it. Dynamite esc with Hitec radio also included

the reason that electrics are generally better for drifting is because 100percent of your torque is available at 0rpm, and the power is smooth and consistent, which give you predictable performance. Also i have heard that nitro engines do not generally do well in the low rpm/ high torque range for long periods of time, which is what drifting consists a lot of. Additionally electrics are hella quieter and cleaner.

The tt01 is a good starter car, but if you want something better i highly reccomend the hot bodies cyclone or cyclone s. or if u wanna go with shaft the tc4 is a good choice. As for a motor brushless is always the best but depending on your tire choice a good 17-23t motor will give u more than enough power.

Yeah electrics have more torque and don't burn up there motors, at all. I'm building a TA05 drifter, which should drift preety nicely.:D:D
