drifting with a gyro

im wanting to build my first drifter and ive seen somewhere (i forget where) that you could use a gyro to help stabilize the vehicle in mid drift to make it easier to learn. if this is so, can a standard heli heading lock gyro work for this purpose?

you do not need a gyro. drifting is very easy to learn. but it takes practice to get good at it. and thats it. nothing is going to help you learn better than practice.

you can do it man!!! If you need help tuning your car, dont be afraid to ask, just do not go to the dark side of the gyro!!!

lol, thats funny. one more question, should i get rear wheel drive or all wheel drive? i know my rc10b4 oversteers like crazy and could possibly be a good drifter, but what whould the benefits of AWD be?

abs is a type of pipe...its like a white pvc pipe but abs is black and a tiny bit softer then pvc..never tried drifting on pvc so dont know the difference..well u can get abs at hardware stores..i wasnt able to get abs at home depot cause they said they got rid of it years ago..maybe u can at another home depot....but was lucky and found it at a brand new built lowel's near by...so happy now..:D:D:D

The best way to go is to buy a AWD Touring car. These are by FAR the best drifters. If you are on a tight budget then get a TT-01 and slowly upgrade it as you get the money.

As far as tires go you can make your own by buying a ABS pipe and cutting it so it fits on your rims. You can also just buy drift wheels and tires like these:

Your other trucks, RS4 MT and rc10b4, these are almost imposible to make into drifters. Keeps those in the dirt[8D].

Good Luck![sm=bananahead.gif]
