RE: how to drift?

you should tighten your front diff so that it gives u more control, and depending how tight ur back diff u may want to loosen

RE: how to drift?

aight i would guess that you might just be giving it too much throttle. if u punch it to get it sideways, once it starts to pitch that way ease off the trigger just giving it enough gas to keep it sideways and counter steer.

RE: how to drift?

Sell it and get an Electric :D

Seriously though, If your Spinning out then you need to take it a tad more easy and apply some Opposite lock to counter act the Spin.

lemme give u a lesson nitro takes time to build up torq electric already has torq at the begining cause it already their :] i suggest u buy a Hpi sprint to drift or a yokomo cause thier made to drift not like converting a touring car to drift and if you have extra money buy a HPI D-Box helps u drift easier :]

Lemme Give YOU a lesson. Most drift cars are just converted touring cars, or a chassis that just comes stock with drift tires. And NO you don't have to get a D-Box to drift good. Just takes practice.:D:D:D:D:D

hey GTB all im sayin if your really a noob use a d box and also converting a touring car takes time and money... and i dont use a d box to drift.... i practice fool :]

RE: how to drift?

I sell Yokomo only! and I will tell you the money You could spend on a Hot Bodies cyclone S with some shoegoo and ABS is still cheaper than any Yok drift chassis... You won't need any expensive dbox, just lock the diff, mount the ABS and your sidewayz...

dboxes are like fat chix...they might be fun, but You wouldn't want your friends to see ya riding one!

A converted touring car is going to be way cheaper than a ''drift chassis''. I am converting a TA-05 to drift and it is going to be cheaper than the Yok. when I'm done. And the d-box is cheating anyway. So make sure you practice alot sinc your not using one.[X(]:)

RE: how to drift?

lol i just like to start fresh not converting or any crap lol but i still like a drift chassis :]

peetiewonder 07-24-2007 02:45 AM

RE: how to drift?

DRIFT CHASSIS CONVERSION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Add Drift tires.
2. Get sideways.

RE: how to drift?

NO dont for get to lock the diffs lol..... hey do you guys lock all diff or only the front or the rear? i only lock the rear :]

GTB 07-25-2007 12:38 PM

RE: how to drift?

You start with the rear, then move to the front.
