noob TA-04 question

I just built a TA-04ss and decided I want a drift car.
I have the Spektrum DX2 radio for it.
Is this a good one to drift with, or should I keep it a touring car and get a TT-01 or something else to set up as a drift car. Most likely I would go Tamiya
because I like Kits, anything out of the box put toghther is like cheating IMO, not to bag on anybody, but that is how it is for me.

I got some drift tires (yokomo) and 6mm offset wheels (HPI 6 spoke) for the rear I have 0mm adn 6mm offsets I can throw on the front, which is better.
If I do keep this as the drift car, what else do I need to do right off the bat.
Should I lock the rear diff with clay, or get a ball diff and tighten it up.
I have alum shock bodies and carbon shock towers and the lightweight reversable suspension kit,
the alum racing steering set and titanium turnbuckles, it is full bearing set.
What else do I need or what other car should I think about.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions
