I'm confused.

I'm new to the electric part of this hobby... ran nitro 4 ever. I have an old hpi rs4 1/10... and It needs a new motor. So I was wondering, do you want a lower turn... like a 10 turn, or a higher turn... like a 20 for drifting?

i run a 19t and it works great. most ppl say 18t is low as u should go when using abs for tires

depends on what kind of tires you plan on running. 19t spec motors are good all around but some do not have the power needed to run grippier tires like the hpi type a's or tamiya d specs. I would say brushless is the way to go. the novak 10.5/ 4300 systems are pretty good all around and the 8.5/ 5800 systems have more power and can be somewhat overkill especially on abs.

around a 19t would suit for drifting unless you have the funds for BL power ;)

I was thinking of getting a 5800 for drifting on ABS but I think you've changed my mind.
