TT-01 DRIFTER HELP
what pinion / spur and motor does everyone use??
thanks |
RE: TT-01 DRIFTER HELP
Depends on which motor your using bro i would start with standard first 19/61 to get used to drifting gives plenty of torque then when u feel comfortable drifting on that setup move a few pinion teeth up,i noticed over 23t pinions you start to lose a bit of torque[:o]

RE: TT-01 DRIFTER HELP
I used the stock combo...but today...today i open the case and SURPRISE[X(], the aluminium pinion was totally ripped off ..not even a teeth on that ...damn...[:-][:-][:-]
so maybe will be interesting to see what others TT-01 users, have on the shaft...:D |
RE: TT-01 DRIFTER HELP
my TT01D came with Tamiya Sport Tuned motor, ran 19/61, upgraded the motor to 27T P2K2 Pro and still prefer the 19/61 combo, I would say anywhere from 19~21 with 61 spur(stock size) is fine.

RE: TT-01 DRIFTER HELP
I use the 19/61T Combo for 2 Years and no signs of Stripping or anything and I was using a 10Tx2 in my TT-01 for a while... seemed to Handle it just fine..
