They look cool and everything, but tires don't spark on real cars. Why would you want them to spark on an RC car, especially for drifters, where most people strive for the 1:1 look? Smoking tires yes, but I just don't understand the sparking tires. You can also make these yourself with flints placed in the tire.

They are trying to make it look like one is drifting to the metal bands in the tire.

You can make your own. If you just cut a piece of flint into your ABS, it creates the same effect. Why someone would want to appear as though they're sliding around on wire is beyond me. You have no control when the rubber is completely gone on your tires. It's a bit scary to me. I have to slow down my slides when I got to that point (on 1:1).

But, whatever floats yer boat.

i can understand smoking tyres but who wants to run there drifter looking like he just blew all four wheels out? lol
and i think the music was added to cover that terrible noise those make :eek:
