4wd/ AWD. you have alot more control this way. with a 2wd, you'll have the tendancy to spin out all the time

When you can show me VIDEO evidence of you drifting a 2WD 1:10th Scale Car.. I will then believe you but till then..

AWD is Necessary for RC Drift...

There is a HUGE difference between Tailing out and Drifting... that 2wd was tailing out...

A Drift is where the WHOLE car travels sideways... not just the back end...

2wd with rc's is hard cause the brakes arent right. on a real car the brakes are on all four wheels. also, with a rc you dont have any real weight shift like a real car. thats why 4wd rc's are better for drifting, pulls the car around.

put pvc on the back 2 and electric tape on the front 2. Then the front still hav traction so it doesnt spin. You can see by this video you dont put the throttle on full or it will spin out. yes its a lot harder and not always successful but it is possible and once you got the hang of it it becomes easier.

Drifting is a very technical sport and these guys are doing it right! Drifting is considered a controlled smooth slide where the car or RC is on the very edge of being out of control. It is possible to drift a 2wd RC but it would be extremely hard and most of the time you would spin out or tail out just due to the fact that you hand and the servos controlling both the steering and throttle twitch. To drift is to have all 4 wheels sliding not just the back.
