Are they ABS or PVC or stock tyres?

if so
cut as much of the tire off as you can and let the rims soak in acetone (sp?) for 24 hours they peel the remaining bit of tire off then let them soak for a further 24 hours
then oyu are all ready to put new tires on

Just buy a New Set of rims for the New Tyres its a Waste to cut off perfectly good tyres... Just buy new rims and use them for the New Type T's your getting..

I agree. I've tried a handful of times and it's a big pain in the neck. I've found if you are really careful when you first glue the tires, it's only slightly less annoying than, say, rebuilding a pullstart or trying to solder with one arm tied behind your back...:D
