hi all i have a savage x 4.6 and an fg marder buggy and reasently brought a kyosho pureten alpha3 for £10 (thought was a good idea at the time ,thought well cant really go to far wrong for £10) this idea i had turned out to be one big head ache[:@] i liked this whole drifting thing but then the car sort of broke down and the idiot before me stripped all the heads and cross thereaded just about every bolt on the damn thing so my question is what is a good car for drifting that is not mega money (btw plz dont let this turn in to a brand loyalty argument) thanks in advance

most of your touring cars are good for drifting. a lower priced car for drifting would be your tamiya tt01(shaft driven), losi xxx-s(belt driven)(cheap on ebay or used). next step up would be a tc3/tc4(shaft), tb02(shaft), cyclone s(belt). these kits are all of the ones that can be had fairly cheap, under $200.00. All parts are readilly availible online. I myself, run a Yokomo mr4tc sp(belt) and losi xxx-s. My next one will be a Yokomo sd drift chassis. Belts tend to be a little smoother on the throttle, while shafts have that low end snap alot of people like. I say pic one and learn to drive it yourself. Good luck
