is the sprint to drift a good car to get stared in drifting? and is it 4wd and how fast dose it go?

yes sprint 2 drift is good drift car... yes it is 4 wheel drive..... and I believe it goes bout 15 to 20 mph...
not that I mind answering these simple question... but google is your friend don't be afraid to use it...

its a great car, i love mine, and dont worry about how fast it goes if you are going to drift....you want more torque:D

i was reading up and the one that i am looking at is belt driven. is that good or bad, if it is bad can u change it? http://www.hpieurope.com/kit-info.ph...No=762&lang=en

no its not bad...atleast i dont think it is, its an awesome drifter, and no you cant change it from belt drive to shaft drive

The only thing that means is your going to have to keep a few spare belts on hand... cause they do wear out eventually. It also depends on if there are a lot of rocks and things like that you will be driving over...

you will not get any torque steer because of it being belt some like torque steer, some don't... depends on your driving style and what fits you..

u will also have to diff mod teh sprint 2 or else it will eat belts.

Sprint 2 will only eat belts if drifted on a surface thats unsuitable to drift on..
Eg There are tiny rocks on the track or Tennis Court surface they can get lodged.

I got over 11months out of my first rear belt and my Sprint 2 was both Drifted and Raced Weekly...

Sprint 2 is a great car, but if I was going carpark drifting, then a TT-01 would be my suggestion...

Is a novak XBR 10.5 a good motor to run?

since we are talking about HPI is the E10 a good drift car as i am new to electric and i dont know much.
if it is not a good car can you suggest me a drift car for around $180 AUD

I would save your money on the E10 and get the Sprint 2. From what I have heard the E10 is not that good. There are alot of upgrades for a sprint 2 and think you will find it to be good for drifting like most others have..

Save your $$ and go for a Hotbodies Cyclone S.. Sprint 2's appear to have been faded out here down under..

The Hotbodies cyclone S is the replacement for the Sprint 2 and although it costs a little more, its a little more adjustable..

If money is the problem then you really can't go past the Tamiya TT-01..

I would recommend the TT-01 over the E10 , Sprint 2 over the TT-01 and the Cyclone S over the Sprint 2...
