best drifting body

I'm new to the drifting side of things. I just bought an HPI RS4 2 and hooked it up with ABS tires and have been out attempting to drift about every day. I am currently running the Alfa Romeo body they guy who had the car before me was running. I'd swap it out if I were running it on the track, but I don't really know if it's necessary on a drift car. I cut the windshield out and both front door windows out cause from what I understand, drifting a nitro can get very hot. What are people running and does anyone have a (useful) opinion on the matter?

the body you choose is all personal preference. there are so many styles availible with alot of options. do cut holes in the windows to allow air for cooling

cut holes in the front windows and the rear windows right behind the motor for a freash air stream to the motor.

All the windows must go, witch you already did, so all I do is run it a little on the rich side and keep it moving at a reasonable speed and so far in 2 years Ive never had much of a problem... cept stalling once and a while, no big deal.

If you find the ABS a little too slick, try using vinyl tape (electrical tape) on your regular rubber tires. 2 to 3 wraps, cut it clean and attach at the bump that you started the first wrap, and use a dab of tire glue on the end to keep it stuck. Then make sure the tires go on so that the tape is spinning is such a way that it wont unravel and tear off right away. You cant wrap it too tight or it will cause the middle of the tire to bow inwards...

Believe it or not it will last quite a while if you do it correctly, and it feels way better then ABS with nitro powered drifters.

Cheers!
