If your a HPI Fan, go with a Sprint 2 .. No need for mods slides great out of the Box on Polypipe tyres...

Surprised you didn't recommend a TT-01? Mainly because it's not much of a competitive racing, more of a drifter magnat?

TT-01's are brilliant drifters...

When some one says Competitive Touring car, I am more persuaded to recommend a chassis that is just as comfortable on the race track as it is sliding its tail out at the local netball court...

Cyclone S offers a balance of race chassis with the ability to slide very well when dialled in for it..

The gearing on a TT-01 (without some severe research) is very limited when it comes to racing, its hard to get roll outs close with the TT-01 gearing...

Cyclone S is far easier to gear up..

ive checked out the cyclone s is it realy worth upgrading the parts 2 the carbon counter parts other that that it looks like a amazn car

There are lots of cars to choose from. But you're looking for a car that you can work on over time but you can drift immediately. Well I was looking for the same thing... Just for that, a TT-01 are great cars to add-on too. They are affordable, plenty of parts! On top of that majority of people on these forums own one (including myself), Sprint 2's are fun (I own one too) and they tend to be "higher maintenance" (well at lease mine is ;) ) I have been fighting with this little pin for a year now that keeps on falling out and I keep replacing (HPI part #Z262, I know it by heart :) ) and the occasional problems I just can't figure out.) A person I use to drift with had a Cyclone S it was a solid car (heavily modded) But I don't know much of them, but they seem to be pretty popular.

But What I am saying is the TT-01 is you're best bet if your looking into long term modding.

i got my TT01 back in april and all i can say is it's easy to drift, just lock the rear diff(with putty) and it's perfect, my only complaints is the farely wide turning radius, it's sad when my crawler can corner better, and the shocks are pretty firm, now i've only been drifting around in my carpark, so it's hard to say, it might be fine on a prepped track
