Just bought a RTR Nitro 3 Drift
 

ok so i just purchased a RTR Nitro 3 Drift and i heard they only go 45 mph, on another site ive been on they got nitro drifting cars on their site that goes 75mph can i switch out the motors??? im going from the stock RTR Nitro 3 Drift motor to the ct5 if thats possible... i need help asap!

the others are hitting those speed because of the 2 speed transmissions. the rtr nitro drift 3 is capable of that with a 2 speed. why would you want to though. drifting is not about how fast you can go

if i can get mine to do 75mph ill be happy. and i want it to go that fast because i wanna race straight ways "drag" with it also. mainly drifting though. any suggestions on things i should put on it because right now its stock and i wanna kinda like supe it up a bit if thats possible???

put a 2 speed in it them. when you drift, lock out 2nd gear so it's not shifting on you

how would i go about locking the second gear out???
