ta-03 whats it worth
 

at my local hs someone is selling a new in box ta-03 opel. the tag seems a little high to me even though it includes a esc and a radio. no idea on what they are though.) the factory wrapping is still on the box as it has never been opened. I read awhile back that these make awsome drift rides... am I right on that?

Its only worth getting if its the TA03F and if it comes with the Carbon Fibre or FRP chassis plates. The standard plastic tub chassis isnt too good at all.

Why isn't the plastic tub any good? Mine works great! Sure, it isn't the nicest lookin thing, but I use my 03F, she don't sit on a shelf, lol. The TA03-F is the very best drifter, no other RC road car has a front mounted motor. To me, its worth a lot just for collecting one NIB... The weight bias is perfect for long, controlled drifts. So far, my 03F's been taking the mamba max esc and vxl motor quite well, not bad for a 14yo car, lol.
