servos
Hey guys, I have a traxxas electric 4-tec with some pvc tires. It runs great and has plenty of power for beginners, but one thing it lacks is servo speed. On mine at least, it has a delay between the steering input and the wheels actually turning. This is disabling me from doing some of the more precise turns and stuff. Would this be a matter of the servo or something else like the transmitter and receiver. Whatever the problem may be I am all for upgrading.
Thanks for any advice. Austin[8D] |
RE: servos
it may be both. tell us what you have now.
High speed servos are always good to have and the radio response is also important. I use JR821 for most of my on road cars except my TA05R which I spent a bit more on and got the hs-5965mg servo. I use futaba 9452 or ace 1015 in my off road buggies/trucks. but... lol... i still have a futaba 3003 in my tamiya M04L. |
RE: servos
All of my electronics are stock, I don't have any new transmitters or anything. I was just wondering what to get.

RE: servos
A nice transmitter upgrade which can handle mutliple vehicles would be a great all round upgrade. Especially a 2.4ghz one.
As for servos, not sure what comes stock in the traxxas, maybe look up the specs on the servo and find one within your budget that's better. Anything under .15s and over 80oz-in of torque would be good. |
RE: servos
ok what kind of transmitter would you recommend
|
RE: servos
futaba seems to make the better 2.4ghz systems. the 3PM 2.4ghz would be a good choice.

RE: servos
ok ill look some up and see where we go from there
