RE: Help with Brushless and LIPO for Cyclone S
I doubt you'll get 1hr+ continuous run times regardless of what esc/motor/battery combination you use. I get around 30 minutes with a 5000mah battery but if you think a 10,000mah battery would get you twice the time you'd be wrong. It would weight twice as much and therefore your motor would have to work harder and reduce run times, not to mention the unbalanced weight.
Just get 2 5000mah batteries
|
RE: Help with Brushless and LIPO for Cyclone S
you might be able to squeeze an hour or so out of a 5k pack and a 10.5 setup on plastic tires. novak is a not bad, and proven setup, speed passion would also be a good setup, i personally am not as much a fan of mambas but a mamba 4600 will work nicely for a drift setup. but you probably are better off like my man said before getting two 5k packs so u can run more continuously. if money is an issue find some nic nimh packs and run those.
