RE: looking for a drifter

I beleive you've got a few options you could go the HPI route and get a HPI E10, or Sprint 2. Or you could go with the Tamiya TT-01D (possibly the most popular entry drifter?). I myself have only had experience with the Tamiya TT-01D so my judgement may be biased, but I've read up and seen both Tamiya and HPI cars and to me, Tamiya seems better. I don't know what your experience level with the hobby is, but be prepared. These cars will need maintanence and repairs. You will inevitably break parts!!! And buy new ones:D Go to your local hobby shop and see what they have too, no point buying a car that the local hobby shop doesn't sell spares for (although you can get parts pretty quick nowdays with online shopping).

Heres the HPI E10 Chassis

Heres a HPI Sprint 2 Chassis

And the (best) last the Tamiya TT-01D Chassis

Take a look at the "POST A PIC OF YOUR DRIFTER THREAD" (in this drifting forum) and you may get some ideas.

He good call bro.

See what the hobby shop sell and run with it.
Tamiya is prob the best bet. Spare are cheap and always avalible.
I started with a TT01D, Awsome. Now i run a TA05 and even better.
The TT01 Is almost bullet proof and fool proof. We use the TT for Missile drifting now.

Good luck bud.

I must say......seeing as i drive belt, its alot smoother on the throttle, but when it comes to handling, and tampering....tamiya is the best bet. Im looking now to get me a TT-01, as my thunder tiger iant doing it no more for me........

oh....and they realy are made for big kids who cant drive.........bulletproof!!!!:)

Either the HPI Sprint 2 or the Tamiya TT-01 is the way to slide..

Check and see what you can get locally.

As long as you avoid Nitro and Rear wheel drive chassis for your first slider, any All Wheel drive Electric Chassis will drift...

The TT01 and Sprint 2 are near indestructible my sprint 2 has gone into the curb full speed several times and nothing has ever happened to the chasis the body is the only thing with damage
