Default Some Hpi Blitz questions

Hey everybody
looking to jump the ban wagon of the SC trucks now haha. On budget so looking at the blitz and slash 2wd. I only bash but nothing crazy. So about the blitz can you use a 7 cell battery. how durable is it and how fast is it with a good non lipo battery?

Thank you

I've driven both trucks and I prefer the Blitz, specifically the ESE version which has better parts and materials. 7 cells will be fine and yeah it'll be fun even without a lipo.

i wouldnt reccomend running a 7c nimh on the stock esc.

Mine blew running on 6c nimh and the stock 15t firebolt.

I reccomend you just go brushless in the near future, theres not really any place for brushed anymore

the blitz is super durable, ive never broke anypart on my blitz.

Just yesterday i had a skatepark bash with the blitz, no parts broken whatsoever and i was rolling it flipping it landing on its arse and nose (my bad driving style) =D

I'd say run 7 cells till you smoke the stock ESC and then go brushless [&:]

I have a Blitz and its a better race truck due to the lowe center of gravity. Its also very durable but so is the Slash. The Slash has higher ground clearance so if you're purely bashing take that into consideration.
