Traxxas Slash Stutter....
I have a Traxxas Slash with a Spektrum DX2.0 transmitter and the SR3000 surface receiver. The truck like almost always glitches and like jerks forward. and I can't stop it like I already have one of Spektrum's Stutter stoppers and that stopped it for a day at the race track and now it is doing it again.
Anybody know what it is or and suggestions on how to fix it
Thanks

Written in the manual you got with the truck.... The xl-5 is not to be run with lipo batteries.
How hot is the esc getting?

Always helps reading the manual before using any RC, and especially as a first-reference source when you have trouble.

Don't tell us not and not give us a why.
It's highly doubtful that his truck is stuttering because of a 2s lipo, because if input voltage was the limiting factor, the ESC would be smoked already.

RE: Traxxas Slash Stutter....
I had to laugh at the thought of merely using lipos as the reason for the stuttering....if anything, it should help
If I had to guess without any information besides "stuttering" and "stock" I'd say your motor is giving out. Try a different one. The Titan 12T can last for months (for some people, rarely) or it can last for 2 weeks (happened twice to me, 2 different modes of failure).
Other than a bad motor (most probable) I'd say messed up radio settings/equipment.
If it is the new XL-5, it's actually fully lipo-ready anyway...

RE: Traxxas Slash Stutter....
We hadfice or sixdifferent people that stepped up to lipos with their Slashes at the track over the summer, and one by one they all (save one) they all had similar stuttering issues. And all were traced back to the XL-5 not really being able to handle lipos. We're talking about a budget/$50 ESC here. Once they upgraded to BL, or a better quality ESC, the problem went away.
