Looks like Slash has 100% of the votes - mine only

There is no "best". No matter what, there will be a compromise with either rough surface handling or smooth surface handling.

There are reasons there are those of us that have 10+ RC cars.

The fastest way to make RC no fun is to attach a logical decision to each one of them.

My "best" would be the slash chassis with rustler wheels, tires in front and pede wheels/tires in back. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_81...tm.htm#8108041

it would come down to what type of surface you like to run on i have a slash and a rustler they both are fun thats the name of the game fun but with my set ups the slash is better on rough surfaces the rustler is better on hard flat thats my set ups on my trucks some my hava theres different but this is just my opinion and a i agree 100% with thunderbird

Stampede! I'm able to treat it like dirt and have only replaced a spear gear. On rough surfaces it's surely going to do great.

The stampede would be my pick out of the bunch...

Why limit yourself to traxxas? The HPI E-Firestorm Flux is an awesome little truck.

I have a rustler and it takes a hell of a beating... it's no racing truck for sure but i handles most terrains pretty well. Just my opinion though I'm not any expert.

Or buy it impulsively and then try and attach one later

Agree with TBJ they are essentially the same thing. So the "best" would be the one you need for where you are going to run it. So without a theoretical running area its hard to say one is better than the other in any which way. Also their durability is the same as each other due to them all using mostly the same parts.

E-storm is only available at Hobbytown now. Too bad, too. Not a bad little truck.

Its on towerhobbies, or is that what you meant? haha I think they are nice looking trucks though. Much more racey than the rustler and a much nicer looking chassis with about the same durability.

I wish HPI made a version of it to compete with the stampede. [8D]

The brushed one must be the Hobbytown-exclusive truck then.

Must be. A-Main has the brushless one also, so i guess that must be what it is. I just assumed they quit making the brushed version. haha

Considering they're all just mash ups of the same parts, it really depends on what kind of driving you want to do.

the rustler is the best because it is fun, fast, and cheaper than the others

Firestorms $300
and a BL e-revo is $700

I'm guessing the revo being OVER 2X more than the Firestorm would be a great reason why...
