Default 1/8 hsp crawler 4 wheel steer



can anyone help me figure out why my 4 wheel steer does not work on my hsp crawlwer??
its something to do with the reciever?
it has 4 plug in spots, but the extra servo will not work
HELP!!!

You press the button on the grip handle if your radio looks like this-

my reciever looks like that, but my controler does not have a digital display, its a pistol grip ,but a cheaper model, i think it has something to do with the reciever needing all 4 plugs filled at once,maybe to complete a curcuit or something?? if i just put the 3 in the second steering will not work??

Then your servos might be dying, take them out of the crawler and test them.

You have a 3 channel radio, correct? If you don't, your rear steering won't work without a servo y-harness.

In general for these the front servo should be plugged into ch1 on the receiver, the ESC plugged into ch2, and the rear servo into ch3. Nothing needs to plug into ch4.

If you're having rear steer problems only, plug that servo into ch1. If it starts working, you may have an issue with the receiver. If it still doesn't work, you likely have a bad servo.
