Traxxas 2wd Slash VXL vs Team Associated SC10 Race-Spec
I'm considering one of these and would like your opinions please. The Slash is about $100 more expensive. It comes with a worthless charger and poor battery, but it is water-proof and the electronics are warranted life time. Even at the higher price, I'm favoring the Slash.
Where is the best place to buy?
Thanks in Advance!

Ive had a slash...
I have a sc10 with a mild brushless system right now.
SC10 handles better and can be bashed just as hard (I do both with mine)
Waterproof is nice, but no RC is truely waterproof.

also not a life time warranty on electronics I think its 90 days, and after you have to pay to replace them(plus shipping both ways).
For example to replace the VXL ESC its $60+ shipping to them vs say you could buy a Hobbywing 80A ESC for $50 that will IMO work better then the traxxas.
So I wouldn't let their warranty be the deciding factor.
The slash isn't a good value for the money, but that is just my opinion

You're welcome for the stars haha
In all honesty, OP, if you ever want to race, get the AE, if you are just looking to launch it off skate ramps, smack it off curbs and later down the line donate it to some neighborhood kid, get the Slash.

I'd take the SC10 over the slash....Just cause I hate traxxas..
