Default Low cost brushless for SC10

Just finishing up my SC10 (#7027 kit version) rebuild and
I'd like to upgrade to a low cost brushless system, I have looked
at Castle but I'm open to others. Recommendations?

A lot of people seem to be happy with the Turnigy trackstar motors and esc's. Or, Hobbywing is another good one that's not expensive.

For an SC10? >>> http://www.hobbypartz.com/ezrun-35a-9t-3650-motor.html I have two of these systems. Fantastic! Crazy fast in a 2wd Evader. Just took one system out of the wife's Evader and put it in my new Hyper TT thinking the motor would be a little over-taxed, but it runs great even in a little 4wd, no heat problems at all! Killer motor system for under $80. WITH a Programming Card too!

leopard 60a system with a 3300-4000kv motor. they are around $70 on ebay.
ezrun 35amp system with 3300-4000kv motor. more like $90.
Both of those systems have finned out 380 motors, meaning the core is a 380 but the can size is standard 540. They don't have the torque of a true 540 motor, but will move a sc10 to 35-40mph on a 2s lipo depending on gearing and surface you are running on.

I second that.... They have some serious power... 3s is just ridiculous...Strangle tho, believe it or not there quality and reliability it up there with the best.

ive still got a 4 year old version 1 35a ESC going strong, it's been used and abused... It got wet one day so bad it killed the fan and its been overheated countless of times to the point where it does its thermal shutdown, and it still keeps on going..... Over the years I've replaced one fan and re soldered the wires once.... My fault tho,,, I cable ties the ESC and the ties wore of the wires over time...
