Default Proline Caliber 2.0 SC Tire

Proline Caliber 2.0 sc tire, soft, just replaced the stock tires on my new sc10rs. Best thing Ive done for the truck so far. These tires are a little wider then standard sc tires, by about 5mm at least. They use the regular sc wheel and the wider foot print helps with traction / handling. With the stock jconcepts subcultures the truck had a lot of oversteer. Under power the back end would come around and spin out. Since I put the tires on the back of the sc10rs the oversteer was almost eliminated all together so naturally I went with the same thing on the front. It sticks the front end a little more which means even more handling and also the front has that soft foamy feel like the rear. Im running mainly on a outdoor, hardpack, sandy loam track so the Caliber 2.0 seems to be the ticket for 4x4 like handling on my 2wd truck.

SWEET! Tires are THE biggest improvement to your truck you can make. I run in similar conditions and have been using Gladiators on my 2wd Evaders. I recently bought a 4wd truggy (Hyper 10TT) and was trying to decide between the Gladiators and the Calibers. I got the Glads. Maybe next time I'll try the Cals.

Problem I had is that the Jconcepts wheels I got are 5mm deeper than the OE wheels. Consequently, they sit deeper on the hub and interfere with the suspension/steering. D'OH!! WHY DON'T THEY SPEC THE DANG OFFSET ON THE PACKAGE?!? Such a PITA.

Nice Carl Renezeder livery on your Slash. I'm a fan of LOORS. Carl is da MAN.! (Brian Deegan has a little too much 'tude.)(Dude can drive, tho!)
