Default Newbee Battery Question

Hi All

First post so if I've posted in the wrong place, please feel free to move it.

I'm looking for recommendations for which batteries to use in my HPI Savage Flux HP.

Thanks

Hi,
I would start out with a 4-cell LiPo. One with around a 5000mah and 40C rating .
Running a 6-cell pack is too much for a first-time driver and you will have a broken truck in no time.

Best Lipos for the money, period. Quality cells, never puff, well balanced. Been using them for years. Whatever you get, stay away from packs with the "2P" in the cell spec. Like this Gens Ace I linked, it's a 4S1P. Four cells. As opposed to a 4S2P. EIGHT cells. More internal connections, four cells you can't balance. Not good.

I would recommend a battery that's made well and sold by a reputable company that will stand behind it.
Venom is a good choice for the price and they have a good warranty .

That leaves out SMC. They don't stand behind their packs.
