Hello rc world.
I have a team associated sc pro truck that i would like to upgrade for better performance off road.
My truck is still all stock and i love it.
My question is : whats the most important parts that i should look at ON upgrades ? I wanna get my truck up to 50mph if i can. Can i do that with this motor setup that i already have ? I need some good off road tires too.

If you are breaking one part over and over again, of course you want to try and find an upgrade option. The ProSC 4x4 does not have a lot of optional chassis/suspension parts upgrades. If you are talking about aluminum upgrade parts, there are the important ones out there made for the ProSC i.e. hubs, caster blocks, steering blocks, and steering bellcrank. I like Associated's "blue bling" a lot too, but I wouldn't concern myself too much with getting some unless I was having issues. I know some people were having breakage problems on the rear hubs. In general, having plastic flexing in a bashing scenario is the best thing.

Pro-Line Gladiators are a good choice for SC bashing, but the Pro-Line Badlands are the BEST bashing off-road tires...period

I am a huge believer in the badlands tires as well, great tread pattern and pretty tough. They are the tire that i blow apart the least aside from my proline streets lol. If you wanna go fast then a 3s lipo is gunna be the best bet as well as changing your gearing.

Yes. Plug some numbers into this RC Calculator. It'll give you a good rough estimate. I believe the ProSC 4x4 has a 3.385 gear ratio.

You will, more than likely, need to run a 3S LiPo pack to reach 50 mph.

. Put those Badlands on all four corners of a 4x4, and watch crap, and pigs fly
! Just my opinion.

Do 2.2 wheels or 2.8 wheels fit the prosc 4x4? If this is not known, would someone mind measuring the center of the front axle to the outer-most point of the steering knuckle and or hub? I have some 2.2 and 2.8 wheels and tires not doing anything and was thinking about getting a used roller for bashing.
Thanks,
Alex
