I highly recommend this one, it will be at least 20 cooler than anything else on the market:

I also recommend a fan with an aluminum case, never damaged any of these either:

The ESC/motor combo I want has 2 rx plugs. Do I need this rx if I run the fan on the esc and the fan for the motor on my eb410 I am building? Here is the rx:

And here is the ESC/motor combo I will be buying. Look at the 2 rx plugs!

Your Rx has 5 ports

Ch1 --> Servo
Ch2 --> ESC
Ch3 --> ESC Fan
Ch4 --> Motor Fan
Ch5 --> Transponder

I was under the impression that you already had that Rx, you can also use a Y-harness to draw power from the BEC if your exsting Rx doesn't have enough ports:

What do you mean draw the power from the BEC with a y harness? I could use a 3ch rx with a y harness instead of that 5ch one.

Are you racing at a club or just bashing around in your back yard/park?

For general bashing around, I would go with a waterproof sensorless setup, they will be far more durable and last considerably longer.

I would get the EZRUN MAX10 3652-4000KV Combo here for speeds in the 35-45mph range:
https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/prod...nt=27757683921

Get the 5400KV motor if you want speeds in the 45-55mph range, where the faster the speed, the more quickly you will drain your battery.

Note that these combos come with a 21T pinion (48P) which should be a good start for your gearing, no matter what, be sure to use temp gun as well:

What if I want slower than 35-45mph? Should I get the 3400KV?

EPA = End Point Adjustment, this controls the travel on the radio, very important to set the EPA on your steering servo so you don't have excess bind which can cause brown outs on the BEC or possibly burn up the servo motor

After you calibrate the ESC, you can also use the EPA to limit the travel on the throttle to reduce top end speed, look for EPA in the manual that came with your radio.

Be sure to read all the manuals that come with your electronics, here are some videos to help give you a big picture to understand these terms:
