Default Motor wounds...single, double, triple????

I looked on the trinity website and saw thet a D5 7T single wound and a D5 7T double wound have the same RPM's and power.

What is the difference in single, double, or triple wound??? Which is better???

Pros and cons....

Single, double, or triple, simply affects when the motor reaches its max power. Single will reach it at a lower RPM then a triple. So in general, you choose the motor based on where you will be racing. Small tight track = single. Long open track = tripple. And of course there is a double, for the inbetween.

so the double is average? I have a 12T double in my truck so is that fine for off road racing. I also have long asphault streets I do my speed testing on so is that motor good for these things?

The double is a "catch all" wind. Unless you just want to drag race or just want to ride a wheelie all day, stick with the double wind. It is the best for racing AND general bashing if you use the same motor for both.

So the single is going to pop a wheelie, and a triple will give me my fastest time?

yeah I think that quads would have the more speed, and I never do wheelies with my evader with the double. I think it's cuz the front is to high. my brother has a rustler with the stinger motor in it and if you back up then go forward then it does wheelies
