Yeah I know makes me laugh everytime I look at the photos
It keeps the tires off the floor stops them from getting flat spots

Hi, Dust,
What i mean is that i don't like to speed up and then loose control and skid without control.
We are trying to set up cars for offroad rallyes.

RE: Subaru Impreza WRC 1/10 Bycmo
some pics of my two cars:
I`ve cutted the electronic chassis and installed receiver and esc inside the tray. And the other car's tray, is the cover
I hope it won`t get too hot.
And for the other car, the holder of the motor is raised so that batteries can be located just down the motor. I hope it`s a better weights configuration let`s see this weekend.
The tray is a common lunchbox... not yet finished.

Should I tight it or loose it, for ground driving?

hi profesor
i think it could be the bycmo tires your using there not very for grip
also it looks like your running your car on astroturf
as for the diffs i see your using the standard gears black ones
the diff that came as standard is not a very good one its to weak
if you can get hold of the white gears and the upgraded diffs as they are stronger

Thanks! Someone adviced me to use a Turnigy diff., compatible, but i cannot find it.
I have first fix mine, using some washers, and it looks like working again, but haven't test it already.
I'll keep you updated with my news.
Probably, i'll get this white diff.

Ok, one friend of mine, has just desisted of working with the bycmo, impossible task, he says.
He adviced me to install this gearbox, instead of the original one.

Maybe I'll give it a chance.

hi prof
had a look at the transmission you sent the link to
tobe honest i dont see how your going to make it work
as the motor runs left to right and the transmission runs front to back

He's fine, we still play with the cars, not used the Bycmos for a couple of months though, probably just after Christmas.
Not used the 4x4 cars for about the same.
The ones we did brushless conversions on.
We have used the lipo batteries several times.
Had to gear down the HSP cars because they were overheating very fast.
Now we have geared them better they aren't getting hot at all.

Hi Ian, well, I could lock the diff, but i like "hard" diffs, not 100% locked but let's say 75% ,,, I don't know if i'm explaining. Anyway, if it fails again, i'll stuff it with some putty, blue tack of so.
Regarding this transmission,
someboy else have done it: just screw it in the aluminium chassis, and fix the big teeth wheel on the front axis.
Only thing left is to fix the motos in the chasis so that pinions are conected.
