Yes it does, just had a look I just assumed they was the factory drilled holes for the antenna & body posts..the wholes the bycmo uses are way down near the boot

Did you ever have a problem with the upgraded tires constantly falling off the wheels when driving? Even with the new wheels after gluing them on they fell off when I drove, even at slow speeds so I've had to put on the standard "drift lol" off-road tires, the upgraded ones expanded a lot (into a oval kinda egg shape lol) when the wheels were off the ground and I accelerated...could it be the foam fillers causing the issue?

I took it out for a drive with that shell on today first proper drive since the new gears and new wheels..as you can see on the second pic I had to go back to the old tires ..3rd pic is my scooby shell the third hole is covered by the sticker..two of the bottom holes has merged into one big one..unfortunately they was all pre drilled when I got the car, and in pic four is the knife set and lexan scissors I mentioned the scissors are great and the knifes are nifty little things. The case is pretty handy two it has a magnetic strip along the back to keep all the blades in place, I couldn't turn them down for a pound each . Going to order some stealth mounts soon so when I get round to ordering the new shells (hoping get them all at one time) I don't have to drill any holes in them. Might get a few more sets of wheels that are in stock too. Since I swapped the steering servo over today all the "ghost driving" seems to have stopped :/ the old servo had a slight problem with it when power was running through it you could hear the servo twitching and see it slightly moving left and right. I swapped it for the servo that was being used for the msc I had spare in my gadget box as I run with the tamiya esc now and it's been fine so far. The speed of the car with the new hears is great too

The black Subaru is from the tamiya tl-01 the same as I have

Nope I've never had a problem with the upgraded bycmo tyres coming off any wheels I have put them on
Have you made sure the tyres are on properly and the foam insert is in properly
I love the knife sets they work out cheaper to buy the full sets rather than the replacement blades but if your like me you end up with loads of knife handles lol
I don't like the curved scissors I can't get to grips with them I just use the knifes and score the arches a few times until I go through the lexan then just rip them off lol

Ahh I see, I had a look online before and couldn't seem to find that exact shell anywhere as stock with no paint on it..might have another search now I know where it's from. Yeah they we're defiantly on properly and the inserts are the correct way I would believe I followed the instructions out the magazine..what way do you have the foam sitting? Yeah I have sapped the tip off of one blade already lol I found the scissors useful for starting off a cut in the lexan and then sliding the blade in the gap and slowly sliding it along to where it needs to go

The original ones fit tight on any wheels I put them on, the upgraded ones that grip more are the same size but there a lot more flexible and soft compared to the originals there pretty stiff. That 100mph car sounds interesting

I used a special glue for rubber so it wouldn't melt the tires maybe I should try super glue...but it will melt the tires to the wheels

Superglue is fine but you will need to boil it off if you want to swap the wheels and tyres with other ones
my car was a team magic g4 black magic a pure race car it was a 2speed nitro it was all carbon very light with a turbo tuned exhaust pipe and a novarossi 12 engine it screamed like a formula 1 race car
I had to sell it because it was way way to fast for me I took it to a race track where they were all racing serpent race cars and they said they didn't want to race against it as it's to fast

I've just inverted the foam fillers and fitted them to the tires and they seem to sit a bit better on the wheels, going to take it out now and have a test run..hopefully the tires don't flick off again...the motor pinion few off last night at full speed it's a good thing I don't drive near people the speed it flew off at was deadly

I did but It was the smallest blob ever lol it was the last tube out of my friends spares box. I had none up until just now when a car pulled up outside and the ghost driver returned snapped the front bumper and split the mustang shell..luckily I can just glue the bumper back together and I have a spare and the shell isn't my best so I'm not really bothered a bit of tape on the inside will do the trick. As for the tires....the stayed on a bit longer but at full throttle they still manage to find there way off the wheels

Dose your friend have any crystals you can borrow while you test drive
otherwise put it in a box and leave it there until you get your 2.4 radio gear
otherwise it's going to need fixing more than you get to use it

Yo Dus,
I'm visiting
Totally lost interest in radio controlled cars, those brushless things always went wrong and got hot, spent loads on them.
Did re gear them and they were better,
Happy Christmas Dus hope you and all your family are well dude.

Dus you should have this thread published under the bycmo bible name , after reading 79 pages of this thread over a week of lunch breaks I feel as if I know just about everything about this car , so I've bought one off eBay just to see what it's all about , fantastic advice with the nitro got my car going for me , prepare for questions lol. Many thanks for all your contributions and the in depth advice as there's not a great deal out there for these cars. Again thank you
p.s. Awesome trucks ! Missus wants one now

Hi stoodleyr thanks for the kind comment I am by no means an expert on these cars I do have a fondness for the underdog it dose have its problems like any but as 99% of these cars were thrashed to death they seem to have a picked up a bad name for themselves when it's the owners who should be the owners with the bad names they were designed to go forward stop and go backwards not like forwards and straight into reverse end of the day how man people drive there real car the same way ?? As for the trucks there not cheap or car park bashers you have to build them all up and add all the radio gear I have 9 I think in total

Fair play , gotta say the same has to be said for most threads I've found for these it's "I tried to handbrake turn and and hit a curb and now the diffs broken" lol . Have been looking at some trucks since first reading this thread and couldn't believe the prices they fetch . Hearing about your monster beetle has made me wish I never gave mine away ,can't bring myself to buy another one though given the price performance ratio . Hope you had a good Christmas and good start to this new year

The trucks are very addictive and one is not never enough they have a 3 speed gearbox box and then you can add lights and sounds and trailers you can have the fifth wheel working off a servo and the trailer legs working aswel and a full lighting kit for the trailers I have a old pink Mercedes Benz that has a working exhaust on it it puffs out smoke and when it's running.with a trailer the smoke runs over the the trailer and it looks awesome
