Default Tuning a MOtor

Ok i have been racing on and off for a bout 7 years now, but there is one thing that i still do not understand... what do people do to there motors to get them to run so hot *stock*. I will have the same setup as one guy but hes always faster.. ill see him putting his motor on a dyno then taking it apart *not cutting the comm* doing something to it then reassmebling then back on the Dyno... im totally lost on what tune ups people are doing to there stock motors to get them to run so well lol.... please any help at all would be great

well some people use higher voltage batts, zap the magnents after a while, and just plain keep their motor nice and dirt-free. But if your local guys at the track have different motors, different motors perform different. For an example... the trinity monster horse power stock is made for big high speed track... but it doesnt have much torque. But the reedy mvp stock motor is made for small tracks when cars need torque to get oout off the turns quik. Do u get what im sayin?? if not tell me and ill tell u some more!!

oh yeah.. i forgot the most important thing to to go faster..... practice practice and practice some more!!! gearing too also plays a big part but for the most of it..... practice is your key to succes!!! hope u do well racing!!!
