the easiest way to clean a pede is running it in the snow. other than after running in the snow, mine's pretty nasty too.

When I had my catastrophic pede accident about a month ago, I broke an a-arm and cracked a wheel. (I hit a tree going top speed with a novak ss5800) A-arm was replaced and now I'm noticing the crack in the wheel is much bigger. The wheel's starting to wobble and everything. I'll still run it till it falls off... Man I just can't believe it didn't break anything else! I didn't see the tree so I didn't even let off the throttle! Of course I was pushing it (such a showoff) because it was the first time my dad saw the brushless motor in it. [&:]

Guys guys guys... did no one took french at school?

pédé ** [pede] masculin name

abreviation of pederaste (pejorative word) : commonly use as queer ** , poof ** , fag **

This is the official g-a-y thread in other words... [sm=lol.gif]

I like my new english/french dictionary, my french teacher is gonna be proud of me!

Sorry about this, I had to.

I fixed up the 5800s wires and boy did my Pede fly today! Ridiculous speed. That is, until I hit a jump that went over a 10 foot cliff, landed upside down, and cracked my Super Sport ESC clean in half - Totally worth the hour and half I spent running it non stop without breaking anything though! I love this thing!

Sucks, but if it was worth it. I was thinkin' of gettin' a Novak brushless system myself. I'm gonna run my truck hard an' not change the brushes so I have a reason to buy a new motor.

good idea speed.lol. guys, i was wandering which arms to get to make my pede wider. i sort of like the nitro rush arms. does these make a good difference? also, i want arms that keep it as easy as possible for me to put in and set up. thanks for all the help, and i will be going with the neo sphere competition 3 star in my pede hopefully. it should be crazy, i will clock it on a video, and try to jump 2 huge blue trash cans again. thanks for the help guys.

.....The all aluminum chassis is pretty nice, there was a review in it a while ago in RCCA; the article was all about stampedes. You CANT use a lehner with a sphere, the lehner is sensorless and the Sphere is sensored.

To use FLM aluminum extended front A-arms on a Stampede, you will also need extended camber links and extended steering turnbuckles. Those are the same parts you will need for any wide pede conversion though.

That's makes no sense, people, learn how motors work before jumping the gun. I swear people see the fastest motor and get over excited. Why on earth would you run a touring car motor in a stampede, it has no torque. The stampede is a MONSTER TRUCK. Run the 2-3 star, no more; no less.

well I got my motors from tower, not really impressed with the 15T titanite speedgem, I put a 12T and a 13T pinion on it and it really didn't make a difference, I got the masher 2ks on order and they should be here next week, I am ordering 2 more motors the 12Turn Double Speedgem and the Speedgem 13t triple, I sure hope this makes a difference! How do you put on the short radius heatsink? do you have to mod the dang tranny housing to make it fit? I can't wait to get my mashers i'm gonna finally be able to wheelie!

I got a used stampede roller and i'm gonna start modding it. I already have bearings and carriers and an aluminum ideler.
This is what i was thinking:

Charger: Dynamite Vision Peak Ultra
Esc/motor: Sphere/3 star
Batteries: Not Sure
Suspension: Big Bores,Losi springs, Widepede(HPI arms)
Tires: Masher
Odd ends: differential balls, Hitec 645MG servo and servo saver, Rpm bumper, mx-a radio, powerpoles and a body.

I would like to know about the widepede conversion, and a list about EVERYTHING (Please?) that i need.
Thanks

the best thing i ever did was get bb on the whole truck. i have the ae speed controll since i melted the stock one(actually it caught on fire) running the 8.4 batt, and i have the orion 17 turn motor sv2bb and its fast enough for bashing around when i dont want to get the gas ones out.its a tough little truck and holds up well.

I called my buddy tonight and he says he should finally have that vid ready tomorrow. I sure hope so. He has had alot of things going on, so I felt kinda bad trying to rush him on my vid.

I also think its time to upgrade brushless setups. I'm gonna order a sensorless system now. Probably the Lehner 5300 and a MGM Compro 80 ESC. I am expecting at least 45mph out of this.
