Default RE: speed with 5300 in on road cars

The speed depends on the application and the number of cells that you are running. The Lehner basic produces roughly 5300 rpm/volt (hence the 5300 name). In a small, light touring car with 6 cells, I have seen them run between 46-52 mph, depending on the final drive ratio. An ST, with the same setup can expect 39-44mph. In a buggy, between 41-46mph, simply because of the weight difference. In something massive, like an E-maxx, you might see 20mph or so. It's the wrong motor for that setup, and doesn't produce sufficient ammounts of torque to get going.
Addind additional cells will increase the speed dramatically. In my B4, with a feigao 8s brushless, I got 42mph out of a 7 cell pack.

So, the speed you achieve is going to depend on : Your car, it's final drive ratio, and how many cells you choose to run.
