Thanks, it's totally true and unbiased also, i tested them both stock out of the box with the same exact batteries running over the same terrain. Everything was the same, i almost felt compelled to sell the E-maxx and buy another E-savage! BUT i went brushless with the Maxx and it's still a close competition lol

so... i had payed for an e-zilla and I was supposed to pick it up the day after I posted a few hours after the HS owner calls me and tells me that it was discontinued but they had a replacement for it... the e-savage... well, i was already excited with my new truck, and it went even higher after i read the e-savage review and rcuniverse magazine. Went to pick it up yesterday and opened it immediately so I could charge the batteries on the way home... haven't had the chance to ride in off-road conditions... that's this weekend plan, but i did race it up and down my street and i only got one word for it... DAMN!!!!
It's worth the bad time my wife gave me for the money I spent on the "kid's toy.
Thank u guys for all the advice.

..some of them will and some of them wont...Hows that for a cryptic answer The FireStorm body will fit but I havent seen it done...The MT2 bodies will fit and have been re-pressed with mounting holes for the E-Sav...The GP sav stock truck body will fit as will the proline Crowd pleaser for GP Sav...Lots WILL...The Hemi WILL but is quite long and it may or may not be the image you are looking for...Best bet is to take your truck to the LHS and do some sry-fits if you can

How about the HPI Defender body? Love it! Will it fit without mods? Anyone willing to paint it that red color for me?

I (my son) has a e-zilla 10 and we are new to rc . It will not move - the steering seems to be working fine but the motors don't turn, all of the lights on the speed control are working properly and we have turned in on and off many times to make sure that we are doing it in the right sequence, we have only ran it 10 or 12 times. It used to beep when we turned it on to register everything is ok but is not doing that now, but everything else seems ok. Please help a beginner. Thanks.

Check the electrical connectors, they have a tendency to overheat and not make a good connection, I would suggest soldering on some DEANS PLUGS. Swap the battery connections around and see if you have the same symptoms.
