old school will beat new school
Not necessarly, if they are both using the same motor then whatever you have more fun with is better.

Hey disc, did the original gold pan rc10 come with a painted or clear body? I'm getting ready to paint up a body for mine and think I'd like it to look old. You know, like what paint schemes and colors were used / popular in the late 80's. I kinda like the gold one in your pictures and the one in the middle row, second from the right. Doesn't somebody make those applica's with Betty Boop. That would be cool.

cadillac, you make a vid of u doin faster than disc and then post and i bet disc's is better. also, stop just coming in to posts and saying things suck without having something to defend ur statement.....its pointless.

yea im excited about my fav jrx buggy and my jrxt truck to get done
heres a vag outline of wat i bought for 20$ (i posted this in another thread where i was asked about it)
lol disc i gave u the name of "vintage specialist" when i posted it :P

well u asked to see this stuff i bought so heres some of the stuff i got for 20$. 6 old jrx2 and jrxpro buggy chasis (valued on ebay and with the help of a vintage specialist which ive found for 60-80$ 3 pan cars of rc10l and rc12l chasis valued at 80+ per, a jrxt which im not sure of value at least 60+ but im keepin that for sure cuz its alum. chasis and very sturdy, about 3 dozen tires and rims (some old some new old) 3 large toolboxes full of parts, about a dozen 1400mah 6 cell batteries, a TEKIN charger (older only charges nicd), a soldering iron, 3 no limit TEKIN escs, about 8 servos, about 6 receivers, 4 controllers (not real nice but worth a little bit at least), i think 8 older motors (still work for moderate bashing needs and indoor driving needs), and i cant think of the rest right now but theres still more. actually theres prolly more moneys worth thatn that because my chasis will sell for close to that much tho im not selling all of it such as the parts and stuff im keeping and some of the chasis. o yea also theres a nitro motor, gas tank, and all the stuff to make an rtr nitro truck, including new glow plug. SO...............considering alot of the parts are newold or new or used but still usable or vintage, ive looked the stuff up, had people tell me what they thought, and other things, and figured a rough estimate.

lucky me huh?

Holinger, well said with regard to Cadillac. I think we need to just continue to remind him of the purpose of this forum. Geez. Gets old. Discgolfer, I just love your stuff. Keep it coming!

Discgolfer was just recently asking about a free software download so he could edit the vids together. Wish I knew of something like that!

Discgolfer...

We are rebuilding an old RC10. Can you tell me what kind of current rear rims and tires we could use without any mods to the car? Not worried about keeping it "vintage looking" for now. Thank you!
