Default RE: Project T-Egg - Lunchboxer style..

since this kit was out, I was obsessed by one view in my mind (even if the time that I will have this kit, or at least the body to mount onto the pajero chassis is very far due to actual economical situation) I want to see this Land Cruiser with TLT tires...so PLEASE LB, when you have some free time, put your CR-01 body onto the T-egg chassis just for pics...to see if the goofy look of those are nice enough...

Danke for filling our dreams (my at least)

That looks great LB. What mods are needed to mount that shell on the chassis?

Just some taller body mounts, really...

Tamiya moved the front body mounts slightly to match up the CR-01 shell, I am guessing.. (see pic) But you can probably just drill the lexan shell at the proper location if you use the stock body mount location..

Maybe I'll ask Santa for a shell, but still don't pick the letters from that part of the world in the last time...pretty hard times arround
I still have 2 unpainted T-egg shell in my basement, but I'm missing body posts for them...I should build some of my own, but didn't manage to do that yet...any ideea ???

Probably easier just to get some generic long body posts... probably easier and cheaper that way.. !!

is it possible that Tamiya to have 2 different FJ body? I see one for CR-01, but also appear like other Land Cruiser body are available.[:-][:-][:-]
