LoL, ya. He likes to check the detail on pics and point it out. Too late now. Oh well, I think that one's real nice looking anyway.

I've fallen in love with powertools all over again. I've acquired a bench sander with disk and belt which is awesome. I can make links perfect length and shafe angles and suff. It;s nice.

LOL, when have I ever dissed you?!

Easiest way to make those link is just put that in a lathe... you will drill it center every time.. and you can cut them to length easily too.. !

But I am sure you knew all that.. !

ORIGINAL: ThatsAnEvader!

And lunchboxer, please don't blow them up huge and point out a flaw lol. This is one of the links. Too bad I messed up drilling the other side.[:@]Don't think you guys want uncentered rod ends...

Well ya, but getting them turned on a lathe takes a while as it relies on my dad's time. I doubt a shop would let me use a full size lathe

Tower has the body and all the parts....totals out at around $65. This is for the original Clod body and parts. Only change is the hood scoop. The updated Clod scoop is not available.

Vintage Clod has just the scoop, re-release has a blower and scoop.

Clod can be made into both..

My recommendation -> get TWO of them....

Or make the Clod racer, and get yourself a TLT for crawling project!!

Here's the thing all set up, minus the bar light caps. I'm painting them black. It's a basher, but I still like the details. No, stickers on this one.

Rare, LB, Evader, write this down. Step #7, when you mount the bumper, use the supplied screw with a BC1 nut and not the BB5 nut. Don't worry, you'll have enough BC1's to finish the kit. Put the screw through from the top. I found that the body does not sit flush on the front body pins if you do it as directed in the manual.

LoL...she thinks spending the amount of money i do on them is crazy, but she doesnt really mind. She actually talks about them sometimes too! She shows interest...but not enough to get her to join the hobby,LoL...I wish!

Good idea, a whole new body set is $65, a whole new Clod kits is $189.99-$25.00 and free shipping...ummm...$164.99.

Only $100 more and I get the whole kit.

I might as well just order another.....
