my reverse seems to be a lot stronger at stop than my forward
i'm wondering if i have something wrong.

i'll post my color coded hook ups later tonight
is it possible that your wires are switched, and your radio is reversed, i had that happen to me
my esc seems to only work when my radio is reversed
if i put to normal, it doesn't recognize it

just the tamiya silver cans
actually, the reverse feels kinda like MSC, jerky maybe.
stop-and-go, that could be why it feels powerful

how about your tamiya trucker?

question
is the 2 motor set up on the clodbuster a 4x4, awd, or 2x2 in terms of real life trucks/cars?
i'm pretty sure it's not awd.. so is it 4x4?

the fact that the front and back is disconnected... so which one does it behave like the most?

LB, I remember you want to see a video of my Clod. Well, I finally got two videos of it today. Here they are:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejlw8DTlk0M

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHkJ5OMtgtU

Sorry about the low quality of the video, this is why I needs a better camera. [:@]

I broke one front body post before from flipping over on pavement as well, when I ran it stock, till I upgraded with a aftermarket chassis no problems.

Here is the part: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGB55&P=Z

But it comes with a lot of other parts. I think you can just purchase just body mounts off TamiyaUSA, can you?

I forgot about ebay, oh well. I believe you won't be breaking the body mounts anymore, if your not using the Tamiya stock hard body, since, flipping over with that body, will make a lot of impact on the posts, but using a lexan body, less impact on those body posts. I did it before, when I was running my Clod stock and it works great.

Not sure what you meant by the factory steering servo setup..

The kit was designed to relocate the servo to the axle (so you need 2 servos if you want 4WS) so it eliminates the linkage from the chassis to axle and provide a much direct steering.

That's kind of expensive IMO, but that steering system must be very good quality. Might do some homemade axle servo mount instead of sinking money...

I found a brushless clod video on youtube. I dunno how fast this clod goes but it's pretty fast.
Just trying to find some ideas to use myself.
