Super Clod Buster Build-up Thread

You can either just glue the differential gears or buy some spools.. Clod spools are made by many... maybe run a search?! Here are some examples:

Good luck!

If you're building a crawler then you'll definitely want to lock both. If you're building something to run around the back yard then you might want to lock just the rear (or neither for that matter) so you keep a good turning radius. What happens is when you lock one of them you lose a little turn radius, and when you lock both you lose a ton of turning radius. The only way to really solve the turning radius problem with them both locked is to go with separate high torque servos mounted on the axles and even then the turning radius probably won't be like it was unlocked.

This is driving me nuts.. For some reason I can not fit the body properly on the clod buster chassis. The body front mount holes do not go through the front mount posts properly as in they only go through a couple of mililimers which means that the hole for the body pins are not visible.
Here is a picture of the body and as you can see the screw is in the way for it to go down properly. What am I doing wrong here? I am not supposed to force down right?
I bought this car second hand by the way and it seems it has been a problem since the guy originally built it.
for your information, the screws are of the correct length, i,e, 3x15mm. I have measured them.

Good idea! Is that how I am supposed to do? I am just reading the manual and I am doing according to the manual.
Ok I just did that. Great thanks! Solved the problem.. Is that how you did it too? Still weird that the manual is so wrong.

Are their any major differences between the original Clodbuster and the new Super Clodbuster? I recently picked up a NIB vintage Clod, but that is going to immediate shelf queen duty. However, I would also like to get a reproduction Clod and I'm wondering if their different at all than the originals. Just curious.

almost the same with the original...few licenced items are changed, and colors...
run mine in first snow last night
...what a ride...

...but I broke one wheel (getting under a running Focus)...and I did a total shower when I get back in the house....take out the electronics, and batteries...(running a 5000 mAh 3S lipo, an EVX-2 ESC...stock motors...
