Those don't look real, though.. the cars are clearly used.. so I am not sure what's up....

WOW!! NICE!! Thanks for proving me wrong (glad that I am wrong here!).. that's sweet..
It makes sense, though, as they got the tooling for the Frog already, so why not!!
Does that mean Monster Beetle is coming?!?!?! YES!!!!! I hope!!
I don't know why it looked like the car was used in the pics that you posted.. maybe they did run those... hmm.. that's why I thought they are vintage.. and someone just did a new paint job or something!!

Monster Beetle is a good suggestion and it'll probably happen towards the end of next year.
The Brat comes out come Easter.

Oh, I so want one of these!
Hopefully it's well priced. I can add it to my collection of dust gathering toys that are under used, but much loved.

I will be picking one up for sure. I'm glad it has the poly body and the lexan one. Makes it possible to use the vehicle, though mine will be 98% shelf anyway.
I like all these re-releases. I picked up a Grasshopper recently. Oh the memories!

It's pretty well priced at $118 - $130 from what I have seen.
Not bad for a kit with two bodies, esc, and bearings straight out of the box.
[waits impatiently]
It was on stella yesterday (gone today) is on ultimatehobby and also rcmart.

$154.99 at Tower...
Mid-March delivery date....
ORIGINAL: hpiguy
Tower says $164.99 and they don't charge $40 to ship it either, like the Jap companies do.
But they don't have it in stock.

ordered two of them yesterday. $130 each includes shipping in US, that's 25 bucks less than Towerhobbies

RE: Tamiya re-release of Subura Brat
I know that the 934 is due for release as well as the Brat - but the Rough Rider is what I want - are they going to re-release it? I bet not. How about the breakout of the Hotshot for the photo box. I still have the original 1983 Tamiya Radio Control Guide book that has that exact shadow box picture in the front cover.
How about re-releasing the Hotshot - or just make every vehicle again. There were a bunch I forgot to buy.

RE: Tamiya re-release of Subura Brat
It's been discussed to death all over the web, but yep, I reckon they'd make a killing if they re released the kits that are the most sought after (eg: silly ebay prices). Maybe the order of re-releases makes more sense if we look at what kits they can easily produce again, and also what the Japanese domestic market is demanding.
As it is, this is the first re-release that has registered as a "must buy" for me. I think probably the XC chassis Pajero / Mu / Jeep would probably see me break out the credit card again as well. I'm a fun of the scale looking cars, rather than the ultra futuristic buggies that are currently in fashion. The Hilift might be a future purchase, if I could ever justify the cost to myself.
[continues to wait impatiently for the Brat]
