Hey man, welcome! Go with two S-600's i also have the e-savage and thats what i'm getting! Here is the thread, make sure you read it and get the correct pinion gear for these motors also.

Some 7 cells should increase speed quite a bit but you will have to cut the center of your battery trays. Use a hump pack.

Yes they will run fine with the stock ESC. I mean brushless is awesome but 15 bucks each sounded much better to me and i hear the are awesome. Can't wait to get mine in!

i got a question, on the pinion shaft, do you have to sand a flat spot for the pinion or will it just bolt right on?

I bought TWO of these S-600 motors
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJ766&P=ML

TWO of these 21 T pinion gears
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXEX06

TWO of these motor heat sinks to help cool the motors
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXJD62

If you get all that and some good batterys then you should be all set!

I BELIEVE it bolts right on. Like i said i'm waiting for them to come in the mail but i haven't heard anything about sanding anything down and no one suggested anything like that?

I ground a bit of the shaft so the pinion could be screwed on (for the grub screw.) A quick dremel job...

I personally would upgrade to 7 cell batteries. 6 cell batts are to slow for me. Check out this compairison from traxxas.com , he tested these cheap 7 cell batteries vs. some ib4200 6 cells batts in a stampede. I am going to purchase some cheaper tenergy 7 cell packs like the ones tested.
http://monster.traxxas.com/showthread.php?t=355022

Yah i agree IB4200's are good quality but sometimes i think their way to much money.
