Default What is a type 540 motor equivalent to in turns?

Just what the topic says. All motors seem to be rated in turns and winds. What would a 540 type motor be equivalent to in turns and winds? Thanks.

Hi m8 do you mean a stock 540 motor thats 27 turn
the "540" is the size of the motor not power ie
Motor sizes 280,360,380,385,540 etc
like a standard tamiya silver can is a 540 size [sm=thumbup.gif]

540 is the motor size, liike 380, 540, 550, 750 etc.

The turns is the amount of wire wraps (or turns, obviously) in the motor, less turns = faster, less torque and more turns = slower, more torque. I can't really remember what a winding is...I think I know, but I don't want to give false info.

Winds are how often there are turns on each stator, a double wound 12 turn motor will use thinner wire and have two sets of 12 turns on each stator. This offers more torque and smoothness.
