Good asphalt wheels for TC4?
I'm new to on road electric as I have been a nitro monster truck guy for years. Tired of always hassling with the nitro so I picked up a brushless TC4.
Looking for a set of wheels that will hold up to my racing around my streets with my friends (on asphalt). Not sure what size to order to?

I'd Try some HPI wheels. I've run several of them on my TC4 and they've been great. If you do go the HPI route be careful with offsets though, as the thread size of the TC4 axles makes it hard to put the wheel nuts on with the 6mm offset rims.
oh and their tires are good too.
In terms of ordering I'd get em from tower.. or your LHS may have them.

Those are straight up racing wheels different compounds for different track and weather conditions. Those may be a bit of over kill if you are just racing around with friends. That is unless you are really racing them and want to win by any means. My motto for wheels and tires for bashing is the cheaper the better. Right now I have these:

I have been using:
Sorex tires (Medium)
soft inserts
Tamiya wheels
2* toe in the rear
-1* neg camber all around
front soft sway bar
35 wt oil in the shox
Handles like a slot car

I love the HPI X-Patter Pro Compound Belted - 26mm
I also like Sorex tires, however they do not last as long. I would only use Sorex at a big race, as I like to save money.

I have the best experience with HPI X Pattern belted tires on my TC4. As a matter of fact, all my TC cars use them.
