Default Is Checkpoint Duratrax?

Is Checkpoint supposed to be a subsidiary of Duratrax? I just saw the TC 1030 Pro Charger in the banner ad at the top of the page and it looks remarkably like the Duratrax ICE. [sm=50_50.gif] I guess doesn't really matter, but I am a curious sort. Anyone know?

CP looks like the same charger except with a backlight and larger price tag.

And 10A charge and 20A or was it 30A pulse discharge and another fan, and...

Well, the circuitry inside the ICE/TC1030 isn't made by Duratrax that's for sure since it appears in a lot of Integy/Eagle chargers as well. There's a Yokomo version of the ICE too.

I'm hoping the price of the ICE goes down since this is an upgrade so I can afford one.

Maybe for once someone is copying duratrax instead of the other way around.
