RE: Brushless ESC for two motors
Why would you ever want to run two brushless motors in the same truck. Much more effective, and less costly, to run a single, larger motor like an XL can motor if you need the torque. Two motors is a waste of money. It's just like with a real car, you want a more powerful car, you don't add another engine, you just make the engine it has better.

I always try to tell people too NO PROPORTIONAL BRAKING on those plane esc's. Its either full brakes or no brakes, you cannot control a car like that. I wish people on this forum would stop recommending bad information in case people who actually need help listen to them.

You can use a ESC like that, BUT only if it's a nitro vehicle where braking with a motor won't do anything; you have to use the mechanical brake to stop the vehicle.
Not that the ESC listed would do what is wanted, though...

Not all plane ESCs are that bad though. Two of Nic's cars for the Max Speed Challenge used Phoenix-HV ESCs from castle. You can set custom break strength, break delay, and break ramp, along with throttle response and current limit. For a touring car on pavement this is not that bad.
