Default Electric truck stuttering

Hey guys I am having a problem and am not sure whats causing it.

Truck: Team Losi XXX-T MF1
ESC: LRP v7.1
Controller/receiver: Sanwa MX-3
Motor: 19t komodo dragon

Here is what happens. If you accelerate and go up to full speed right before full speed or at full speed it will stutter. Like the throttle goes from off to on extremely fast maybe 3-4 times. It sounds like a rev limiter in a real car. It doesnt do it all the time and it only does it for a second or 2 before it clears up.

Normal? Bad ESC? Any info would be great. Thanks

Here's one possibility. Sounds like your battery could be dropping in voltage under acceleration enough to where the radio may be cutting in and out causing the stutter. Though this usually happens to high power brushless motor system. What battery are you using? It's unlikely though with a 19t motor that the battery would struggle like this. Is it possible for you to try another ESC or battery, that way you can eliminate one or the other?

And the power connector (battery <-> ESC)? If that is improper, could have the same effect.
